From a Basement to Building a Beauty Brand

Nadege's entrepreneurial journey began in a basement.

As a single mother of three, Nadege was raising her children, building a new life as an immigrant in the United States, and working to create a better future for her family. She did not begin with a large salon, a team, or a perfect roadmap. She began with her talent, determination, and the courage to use what she had.

Her children were part of the journey from the beginning. They watched their mother serve clients, work long hours, and build her reputation one appointment at a time.

What started in a basement slowly grew through consistency, hard work, word of mouth, and the trust of her clients.

Beauty With Healthy Hair at the Center

Behind the chair, Nadege became known for protective styling, natural hair care, braiding, and transformative hairstyling.

But her philosophy has always gone deeper than creating a beautiful finished style.

Nadege believes that beautiful hair should never come at the expense of healthy hair.

That belief became one of the foundations of Nadege Creation. Every transformation is approached with the client's hair health, confidence, and long-term hair journey in mind.

From the Salon to New York Fashion Week

Nadege's artistry and dedication have also taken her beyond the salon.

In 2023, Nadege joined hairstylist Merlande Petit Homme's team for The Fab Lab during New York Fashion Week, contributing her skills and artistry as part of the hairstyling team for the fashion event.

The experience marked an important professional milestone in a journey that began in a basement.

From serving her first clients while raising three children to contributing her talent in a New York Fashion Week setting, Nadege's journey reflects persistence, growth, and the courage to continue stepping into bigger rooms.

Expanding the Nadege Creation Vision

As her clientele and reputation grew, Nadege began expanding her vision beyond the salon chair.

Nadege Creation grew into a beauty business with multiple locations, serving a diverse community of clients and providing services focused on protective styling, natural hair, braiding, and healthy-hair transformations.

Her experience working directly with clients also inspired her to think about what happens after a salon appointment.

That vision contributed to the development of Bio-15, a hair care line created to support stronger, healthier-looking hair and help clients maintain their hair between salon visits.

For Nadege, creating products was a natural extension of her work behind the chair. It allowed her healthy-hair philosophy to continue beyond the salon and become part of her clients' everyday routines.

Building a Legacy for Her Children

Nadege's journey as an entrepreneur is deeply connected to her three children.

They have witnessed the long days, sacrifices, setbacks, risks, and victories that come with building a business.
